Twelve is just way cool. In honor of the Gregorian calendar arriving at the 12th day of the 12th month of the 12th year of the current century (or 12-12-12), here are 12 fun facts about the number 12 or the date 12-12-12. 7. The human body has twelve cranial nerves and normally has twelve pairs of ribs.
8. A group of twelve things is called a duodecad. Does that mean 12-12-12 can also be called duodecad-duodecad-duodecad?
9. According to some interpretations, the Ancient Mayan calendar refers to 12-12-12 as the end of times as we know it – a spiritual transformation moment for all of humankind.
